About the event

Join us for a journey of exploration and creativity in this popular and hands-on workshop, in a beautiful garden in Lam Tsuen Valley, where we will learn about soil, explore our connections to the soil and  the connections between soil and art.  You will also learn some powerful drawing principles - filling your art with life force, energy and passion.   You will feel more deeply the connections between yourself and the land around us, and express it through your art.

Currently the world's soils are under intense threat, and David combines art with his understanding of soil to create a  stimulating workship experience, that will introduce artistic and gardening skills, whilst learning some of the latest research on soil, soil microbe life and also how carbon capture in soil can play a role in solving the challenge of climate change.  We walk about on the soil, our food comes from the soil, but we rarely give it a second thought - as if it is only dirt under our feet?   Yet, healthy soil is packed full of life force which transfers to us through the food we eat. If we eat food from healthy soil, our life-force and our health and resistance to disease will strengthen.

The numbers of participants  for each workshop will be kept small (up to 14 participants) so as to maximise learning.

Times: 10.30am to 3.30pm        Cost: contact us for details

Ask us direct about dates for private groups.   Presentations and in-house workshops can also be arranged.
