Abstract inspired by Australian and Balinese art, with hand-ground soils and other natural pigments from the South Downs and areas lical to the artist combined with wax pouring batik technique.  The Downs rolling hills inspire one to go walkabout. Even within the microcosm of a tree and surrounding soil one can imagine slow journeys.
